Three hours on Zoom of text study & meditation, inquiry & intention sharing,

to prepare ourselves for the Festival of Revelation.

This mini retreat is included in the MJM monthly membership.

Currently enrolled Talmidim do not need to sign up. :-)

On Shavuot, Jews from the whole world gather together to study all night while eating dairy foods in celebration of the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai.
Since Pessach, we have prepared ourselves for seven weeks - hence the name of the festival ("the weeks").

But beyond the delight of cheesecake and the joy of learning under the stars,

the Sinai Revelation invites us to reflect on deep existential question:

what does revelation mean and what does it take?

Do we really choose the covenant and if not, what about the freedom we just reclaimed while leaving Egypt?

Join Rabbah Dr. Mira Neshama Niculescu for a mini-retreat in preparation for Shavuot!

The half day retreat comprises:

-Text Study

-Guided Meditation

-Inquiry in small groups or via journaling

-Time for Q & A with the teacher

An ideal way to deepen our practice without needing to take time off,

and to integrate extended meditation in the midst of our daily life setting.

TEMOIGNAGES

The retreat offered me the framework to be present to myself and to the Source of Life. A time for listening and reflecting on the Texts. The shared energy of others."

What is a Jewish Meditation retreat?
