Tu BShvat: Healing the Tree of Life
A Mini Retreat to explore the Kabbalistic Seder
Available spots
Description
Each year, on the 15th day of the month of Shevat (literally Tet Vav, pronounced “Tou”), the Jewish calendar celebrates the New Year of the Trees. As always in the world of Jewish spirituality, the life of nature echoes the life of the soul: according to Jewish mysticism, “God,” the Source of Life, is expressed through the image of a Tree of Life, which connects the earthly and spiritual realms through four worlds (Arba’a Olamot). What is the symbolic significance of this Tree and these worlds for our on lives, and how can the Kabbalistic Tu BiShvat Seder help us in working towards our own tikkun? Join Mira Neshama for a mini-retreat dedicated to the Kabbalistic Seder: its symbols and stages, its rituals and meanings—offering keys to fully experiencing and sharing the transformative power of Festival of the Trees, fir yourself and with those you love.
