MJM (Morning Jewish Meditation), is a self transformation program, based on a powerful indigenous Jewish Meditation technique: Hashkata. Hashkata is a Hasidic contemplative practice taught by the Piaseczno Rebbe. By teaching us how to grow in awareness and cultivate midot (character traits) such as compassion, generosity and truth, this deep spiritual discipline can help us reconnect to our spiritual nature and live in greater harmony with ourselves and others. This is not just a meditation program, it is a journey of personal growth. PROGRAM DETAILS In June, we go back to our work with the Messilat Yesharim and we continue with the midah of Anavah, our next step on the journey All sessions are recorded. If you can't join a live session, sit on your own time. Please NOTE: Due to Mira's Traveling schedule, the format in July is different 1. Sunday Plenary- This is our main session. A 75 minutes workshop to support your practice. The workshop comprises ameditation, a Musar (ethics) talk, and Q&A. 2. Two recorded guided meditations, one for weekdays , and another on Friday as a preparation for Shabbat. 3. A mini retreat on Sunday, July 28th. ** The program is offered on the basis of Terumah (Voluntary Contribution): Please practice generosity and solidarity: choose the highest rate you can afford. It greatly supports the group in supporting those who need scholarships. SCHOLARSHIPS Everyone is welcome, no matter your financial capacity.
